I’ve never studied French. Can I start with you?
Yes. Carla teaches complete beginners and builds a strong foundation in pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar from the very first lesson.
How long does it take to become conversational in French?
It depends on your starting point, how often you have lessons and how much you practise. With regular lessons and practice, many adult beginners can hold simple everyday conversations within a few months.
Can lessons focus on French for my job?
Yes. Lessons can focus on the vocabulary and situations you need at work, such as meetings, emails, presentations, client calls and interviews.
Are online French lessons as effective as in-person lessons?
For most adults, yes. Online lessons are fully interactive, with live conversation and real-time corrections, and they save travel time. In-person lessons are also available in Mississauga.
How do I know my level?
Your first lesson includes a quick assessment of your speaking, listening, reading and writing, so Carla can place you on the A1 to C2 scale and plan your lessons.
